Bethesda confirms TES6 is playable internally

As part of Bethesda Game Studios' 30th anniversary celebration for The Elder Scrolls franchise, Bethesda publicly confirmed that developers were actively playing early builds of The Elder Scrolls VI internally. In the anniversary message, the studio stated: "Last but not least, yes we are in development on the next chapter - The Elder Scrolls VI. Even now, returning to Tamriel and playing early builds has us filled with the same joy, excitement, and promise of adventure." The statement became one of the most important official TES6 development updates since the original 2018 announcement because it confirmed the existence of playable internal builds and represented the first time Bethesda publicly referenced actively returning to Tamriel during development.
